COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Members are beginners to experienced gardeners. Our focus is to educate, beautify and contribute to our communities with horticulture and conservation projects.

Falmouth Memorial Library Garden

Our Club meets monthly.  In the summer it goes on garden tours of member’s  gardens and public gardens.  In the fall and winter we meet, on the third Tuesday of the month at the Mason-Motz Senior Center, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Our primary funds are raised through our Annual Plant Sale in May. The plant sale features member-grown perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, herbs, bouquets and gently used garden tools.

Current Projects include:

  • Maintain Falmouth Memorial Library Garden

  • Maintain butterfly garden at Cumberland Public Park

  • Maintain Anne Lamb Garden at Mason-Motz Center

  • Annually award a scholarship or a donation to educational programs

  • Arbor Day project planting American Hazelnut trees.
